Most of our adoptable pets are at the shelter; however, we also have some in foster home situations. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, it is important to contact us before visiting the shelter to ensure there will be someone available to assist you in your search for the right pet.
We require that you apply for adoption using our Adoption Application forms. We have both printable and online application forms available for your use. The printable forms can be faxed or mailed, and the online forms can be submitted for immediate transmission. We have also included copies of the Adoption Contracts for your preview.
If you find a pet you are interested in and it is still adoptable, please follow these steps:

Complete an Adoption Application for the desired pet

Submit electronically or mail the application to TRACS

Allow us to review the application

Set up an appointment with one of our adoption assistants
When the steps are completed and approved, the pet can be adopted upon receipt of the full adoption fee.
All of our pets will be up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered.
