Welcome to the Thompson River Animal Care Shelter

Located in Thompson Falls, Montana, TRACS is dedicated to the welfare of animals in Western Montana and beyond. We provide shelter for lost, homeless, neglected, and abused animals until they find their loving forever homes.

Our Commitment

All animals adopted through TRACS are:

• Healthy
• Vaccinated
• Will be spayed or neutered

Adopters agree to:

• Provide humane treatment and a loving, healthy environment
• Provide long-term care for their pet

Our Reach

Working with our local community and partners in other states, TRACS has grown into a shelter that assists over 1,100 homeless pets annually. We connect animals with wonderful homes through our website and four adoption partner websites.

Your Support Matters

TRACS is a non-profit organization that relies entirely on donations. With your generous support, we can continue to provide a safe haven and a second chance for animals in need.
